Sherlock is a hard science/mathematics prodigy. His walls are covered with whiteboards that have equations all over.

HUGE bonus if he "talks nerdy" to his partner during sex. I don't ship a particular pair so I don't care whom you pair him up with :)

I apologize for taking forever to respond - I just finished a major research. And yes, I'm down with the whole idea of chemistry and mechanisms (chem is not my forte, sorry if I'm getting things mixed up).

Thank you so much!!

Sherlock is not really asexual, although he tells people he is because it's easier. You see, in uni he had one boyfriend, who wound up being really abusive (non-con, violence, all that lovely stuff, none of which needs to be graphically descpribed) and as a result his first sexual encounter was way before he was ready. He cannot imagine having sex with someone he cares about - it's repulsive. But he really does love John and does want to be in a relationship with him. He even likes kissing and cuddling, but nothing sexual. During the early days of the relationship with John he finds out that while the thought of sex with John is terrifying, the thought of sex with the previous person really turns him on. He feels horrifically guilty about this until he rationalizes that he can just pretend John is that other person when they have sex. So he does this. And it works. For a while, at least. One day he cries out the name of the other person and John suddenly wonders what's up. Long and angsty, please, but I'd love a happy ending without ( ... )

Part one being written now. May not be the most frequent poster ever but I'll try to keep up with myself.

PS Sympathy and understanding.

Note: saying "Who cares since I'm not going to remember this anyway" is apparently not a turn on. Neither is "now that i've told you this feel free to call me a sick freak." Or "I'm not sure if this makes me a lesbian since I'm in love with you and not sexually attracted to any other females, but maybe she knew something I didn't."

quadruple checks anon here damn why am i admitting all this

Warnings: future discussion of non-con (non-graphic I think), sex, angst.Sherlock pressed his forehead against the bathroom door. Somewhere in his mind he noted the sensations: cool, smooth, solid. It gave a dull thud as his skull impacted on the wood and he knew on the other side John was sitting, leaning with his back to the door, and could feel the vibrations of the movement ( ... )

Last Night on Earth anonymous August 21 2011, 02:08:12 UTC
The world will end in 24 hours. The reason(s) doesn't matter, just it is a certainty that the world will end unless a miracle happens. Of course, this leaves our favorite guys trying to decide how best to spend their last night on Earth. Maybe it's finally time Sherlock admitted he might not be such a sociopath after all. And for John to admit he's not quite so straight as he thought.

Preferred pairings are S/J with Mystrade coming in second. And I don't mind a bit of genderbending or any OT3's, if that's where your muse leads you. You can save the world or not, just have fun with the potential emotions!

Here's a vid for inspiration? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMDRIXTc1tY

I think I scared the crap out of Mycroft. That's twice now he's given me symbols!

AN: This kind of wound up gen but I hope you don't mind. You can ship Mycroft/Sherlock/John if you'd like though. It's ending and they both know it ( ... )

That's kind of sweet. I liked the part about Mycroft's diet, and the last paragraph as well in particular. :)

John see's dead people anonymous August 21 2011, 02:09:21 UTC
He has ever since he got shot in Afghanistan and nearly died. When he woke up in hospital he had a new lock of grey hair, and an ability to see the ghosts. Being the person he is, he's taken it mostly in stride, mostly ignoring them, avoiding telling his Shrink about them because the last thing he wants to do is get put in an institution. His irratic behavior is put down as being PTSD.

But then he meets Sherlock Holmes who decides to guide him, to use his new abilities to seek out and help the dead pass on. Sherlock's kind of annoying, but he's persistant, perceptive, and he guides John to solving crimes. All he asks is that John keep all the credit to himself, and don't mention his name to anyone else.

As John starts solving crime after crime, an odd man with an umbrella takes a particular interest in him, but Sherlock tells him, at all costs don't mention his existence to this man, if he does John will deeply regret it.

I should mention, of course, Sherlock is a ghost, too, but John doesn't know it.

Love, Thieves, Fear (1/?) anonymous August 28 2011, 19:59:13 UTC
"Love, thieves, and fear make ghosts." -- German Proverb

xx

John’s heart stops in surgery. He doesn’t remember this, of course, doesn’t remember anything that took place between the anesthesia and the recovery bed - but they tell him. It seems a bit of trivia at first, no scarier than what put him under the knife in the first place. Later, he’ll wonder.

He doesn’t wonder about much of anything in the hospital, except when he’ll be getting back into the field. When he sees himself in the mirror, he takes note of the patch of grey hair that’s snuck up on him, and the lines bent into his forehead, and knows intellectually that regardless of how well his shoulder heals, he’ll be put out of the army eventually. He just can’t imagine it. He imagines his men out there without him, with someone else in his place. He imagines disasters and triumphs he won’t share and wounds he won’t treat, but he can’t imagine not going back.

(He doesn’t have to.)

xxHarry can only guilt him into accepting so many favors, but today she still has currency. ( ... )

Oh yes, seconded! I really can't get enough of people spanking John. In my ideal fantasy world, he'd be spanked every day.
