Hello, welcome to the new post! sherlockbbc_fic March 9 2013, 19:12:41 UTC
We have a new overflow post for anyone thinking about filling prompts from older, full, parts.

We’re also still looking for more archivists. We’re not only archiving new parts, but also going back through the old parts to make sure that everything’s been added to the archive and tagged. If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, please send us a PM or leave a comment on this thread.

Hi,

just wanted to ask if you're still looking for archivists? If so, I'd like to offer my help (as long as someone could explain to me very patiently how it's done).

If you're interested, mail to me: certainetymolo at gmail dot com.

We'd be happy to have you on board. :)

We sent you a PM with further details about archiving a few days back. We know that LJ's PM system has been sort of wonky lately, so in case our not having received a response is because something didn't get delivered properly, please let us know. We hope it's just that you've been busy and need some time to look things over, but we didn't want you to think we were ignoring you if something had gone wrong.

Sherlock is asexual, but he loves John and helping him get off isn't much of a bother, especially when he's all pliant and cuddly afterwards. And Sherlock has method so after a short while he can make John come in five minutes flat with his hands/toys (because really, why should it take longer and could we get to the pliant John part, kaythanks). They're okay, everything's fine. Then one day John tells him that, yes, it's all well, but could they just now and them make it last longer. Sherlock's all 'meh, inefficient sex' at first, but they try it and he discovers that it's not as boring as he expected. It's still not all that arousing for him, but he quite likes it when John is a shivering begging mess and at his mercy. Like, okay, making him come before he knows what hit him has its good sides, but he hadn't realised that he could make him do these noises, when he just stroked right there- and stopped to stroke, oh yes, there, quite lovely, too ( ... )

I love this prompt so very much. 100% in favor of non-repulsed asexuals ( because I'm one of them and I think my boy Sherlock is too)

Fill: Compromise 1/5 tsukichibi March 11 2013, 19:46:49 UTC
I had to fill this.

--

It starts with a compromise, with John kissing him lightly on the mouth and then backing off quickly - too quickly - followed by a long, awkward conversation about areas and John’s reassurances of how very fine it all is. And for a little while, he’s right. It is fine. Sherlock finds that there is an inherent freedom in being allowed to flop down on the sofa beside John, so close that their thighs touch, and cuddling up until John can’t even breathe without Sherlock knowing about it. He likes slipping into bed beside John and realizes that he sleeps better that way, though he won’t admit it, and the little gestures of affection John bestows: a touch to his shoulder, a hand running through his hair, a kiss to his cheek, fingers brushing over tea, are worth their weight in gold.

But then it becomes very not fine, because John starts to withdraw, starts to get cranky and sullen, and Sherlock knows why, of course he does. It is all so very obvious. He tries, once or twice, to fix the issue, but John dodges him ( ... )

John is injured or ill. Sherlock makes it his mission to care for him.

Can contain any of these ideas:
- John has terrible fashback-y fever dreams, Sherlock talks to him to sooth him
- John's the worst patient, because he's a doctor and know everything better
- John didn't expect him to care and is a bit freaked out. He tries to figure out if Sherlock has ulterior motives.
- Sherlock gets all single minded and intense about caring for John
- Sherlock does weird but adorable things that mummy or Mycroft used to do when he was ill as a kid (like singing a special get-well-song to him or brewing some obscure family remedy, IDK)

Definitely humour, but no crack please. Sherlock is weird and a bit overbearing about caring for John, but not actually bad at it. I want angst and heaps of understated fluff. Gen, pre-slash or slash are all good.

Hi, I actually started writing something like this way back when I read the original prompt. Might as well try to finish this time. Especially as I'm inspired by my own bout of cold just now. Wish me luck.

I couldn't resist this one, but I'm hoping the other filler comes through too, because it's a delicious prompt and deserves more than one fill!

He decides to go to Himalayas, to Shaolin temple, where he can adopt some of the stunning skills of local monks. Anyway, one of them belongs to his old acquiantances. He could go there. So he does. He travels there anonymously, in disguise, with new documents. The travel is quite long and exhausting, inasmuch as he doesn't go there (to Tibet) by plane, or any other so well detectable way, he has to choose less conventional/formal way of traveling.... because he must be well covered and hidden even from his brother and we all new Mycroft, especially Sherlock does very well, so if he doesn't do this properly, Mycroft will find out. So, what remains is travel by boat, car, bus, etc. As I wrote, the way is long, very long and he doesn't sleep, or eat properly, nor regularly, not that he usually does, but he starts to feel sick. He ascribes it to lot of stress, flactuations in the weather, time changes, not eating almost anything for the last weeks, and if he does, he thinks he is sick because of something bad he ate, something exotic, bad ( ... )

Too bad, that Sherlock knew very well, that now he should be already somewhere around the beggining of the fourth month, relative to his first and also the last encounter with John. His scent changed, this was unfortunatelly the most serious and the most proving thing, that proved and claimed his current fucking bad state, which he hated to be in ( ... )

Sherlock knows something is wrong when he walks into 221b to find Mycroft obsessively organising things.

Mycroft having a bit of a breakdown, Sherlock being gentle and brotherly towards him.

bonus for John's reaction to all this.
