Wow. Your voice and your knack for description are really marvelous - I was hooked right in in the first couple of paragraphs. Beautiful and beautifully seasonal. It's absolutely cozy. And John's gift! Honestly, it feels a little like a fable, like something out of O. Henry. It's really well-conceived, and the execution is sweet without rubbing any of the characters' edges too far down (obviously, the only way to get Sherlock to run down to the tree on Christmas would be in expectation of a victory ...).

I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SORRY that I didn't comment on this! I thought I did! LJ ate it! I am the worst.

So I love this to bits, truly. I was super confused trying to come up with what on earth the gift was and how on earth it was going to be some big surprise. Then they went to the museum and I was like "NO WAY" and then "NO WAY NO WAY" and then I accepted it and I love it so much. Their voices were great, and I totally wanted to cuddle with both of them the whole time.

So thank you thank you thank you <3 I love it. I will cherish it.
