This so rocked!
I love the match up and Teyla saving Bates.
Characterization was spot on, as usual... and paintball!
I've never played, but the game concept is cool.
But sadly, I am not sure I could get over the "never point a fire-arm at another person" rule of gun handling.
BUt it was a fun read!

I like the game concept... the hunting and finding, hiding and tracking. Sounds especially good for soldiers etc.
But the whole aiming a weapon at another person? So against everything I have grown up with.

Plus it's against a favorite adage:
If you are going to shoot, shoot to kill.

See, I have no idea about Shermer High type things, but this was lovely. So amusing. I'll be lauging to the image of paint covered Rodney all day. Very nice job, as always.

Yay!! Third (or fourth) read through here and I still love it. I love the little changes and I was humming deliverance the entire time. :-)

Even when he is being a jerk, Bates (even high school mini!bates) is HOT! :-)

The "he thinks your pretty" is still my favorite line though, and Rodney as John's property. Which is probably funnier to me because, well IM me sometime and I'll tell you why. :-)
