Strange Saturday night

One of the weirder things about living in a different time zone when you have lived in the same one for thirty years is that the days get all screwy. I am tired at weird times, and totally awake at other times when I should be sleeping. Monday will be a bit different, as all of my classes will be starting early that day. I don't know. This is a total assumption on my part, and I might be dead wrong, but I don't know if there are alot of openly gay folks here. I have yet to see any. I am sure that there are some, but not anywhere that I have been yet. Also, you have to remember that this is the south. They are still fighting the Civil War here. There are areas of town where I imagine it wouldn't be safe to be in unless you were openly heavily armed (which is legal here, BTW).

Nashville, like any big city, has it's problems. It isn't like Seattle. You can't be careless in the club here. You have to watch yourself, because harmlessly staring off into the distance thinking about nothing can get you in trouble in a hurry. I like it, but it is different.

Dude, I thought for a couple different semesters at GU that I would take on assignments/papers as they were given to us, but it never, ever happened.

But that's me. I have a strong suspicion that you're far more disciplined than myself.

Hope you are doing quite well. It's good to keep up reading your posts.
