My Dad might just be Superman!

Not quite a week after falling from a roof, my dad is back home. He had to have surgery on his wrist to pin the broken bones but isn't even wearing a cervical collar. He's should have gotten at least some of the stitches out of his head today. The broken rib is making it hard to sleep, but considering what could have happened, he's amazing

Assuming I can get a reasonably priced flight and can arrange time off with my summer meeting schedule, then yes, I'm going to try to get home for a week or so this summer. I told Dad that when I talked to him on Friday and he was happy. I'd MUCH rather go up there in the summer anyway, since they live on a gorgeous lake and it's mighty COLD there in the winter time!

Gotta get my passport renewed. I've been meaning to for ages, even have the forms printed out but I need to get the pictures done and get it sent in. I was concerned about it when I thought I was going to have to fly back in a hurry. I need to get it taken care of so it's not a concern if something else happens to someone.
