Getting back from holidays has really made me realise how exhausted I am all the damn time from continuous shift work. It just takes so much planning and interferes with my social life so freaking much. After having a great big go at Michael for not planning and needing to rearrange our South Island trip, it actually worked out that because we changed our plans we got to swim with seals on one of the few fine days of our trip, avoid sea sickness on the Interislander, and get to Christchurch just in time for the International Buskers Festival ( Read more... )

hooray! found a car with less than a days notice and are heading to kerosene creek in rotorua today to get us some hot spring action!

Then off to the giant maze, and the buried village, followed by a walk in the redwood forest.

Also I am going to quietly ignore the fact that we are over our budget today and have fun anyway...
