I really love having cornrows. I like the way my hands feel running over my hair. I like the way breezes tickle my scalp. I like noting the neat geometry when I pass panes of glass. I especially like being able to be ready without attending to hair arrangement. If only my love were so charmed by them. Heh.

they were a bit too tight this time, so i had/have the tender spots at the nape of my neck, but hurt? no.
a week or two in and they feel totally normal now, no more pulling or itchy tightness. wheeee.
