STILL HAVEN'T WATCHED 3X01 BECAUSE I HAVEN'T GOT MY SHIT TOGETHER BUT I AM READY FOR THE SFORZAS LIKE WOAH.

AND APPARENTLY FOR RODRIGO/VANOZZA! :D

Anywayyy,

+ Didn't really mind the Pod discussion because I find it very realistic that all those arseholes would be all over that, LOL.

+ Olenna the Sassy. Most appropriate nickname ever, tbh.

+ Skipping Robb and Jon felt blissful, tbh. Although I missed the Tullys. They were fun! ;)

+ You ship Brienne/Jaime?! We share a ship, once again! (Still rare though!) Brienne/Jaime might be my actual OTP. I am yet to decide. All I know is, I SHIP IT SO MUCH OH MY GOD SO MUCH.

+ But then I also ship Joffrey/Maegary, so what do I know?! WORD on your description of their dynamic!

+ TYYYYYWINNNNN. He could have won the game, though D:

+ LOL I ak glad you appreciated the Night's Watch stuff! I thought I was the only one who noticed. Mormont dying = SAD TIMES! AND THEY CUT HIS SPEECH ABOUT JORAH! D:

GUUURL YOU NEED TO GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER AND WATCH ALREADY, IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE BEHIND! MUCH BETTER THAN TVD!!!

AND APPARENTLY FOR RODRIGO/VANOZZA! :D

Aww glad you like them too! ;)

+ Didn't really mind the Pod discussion because I find it very realistic that all those arseholes would be all over that, LOL.

BUT THE WHOLE STORYLINE WAS JUST SO UNNECESSARY IN THE FIRST PLACE! >:( WHY ARE WE WASTING TIME ON THAT?!

Although I missed the Tullys. They were fun! ;)

Lol, the Tullys can stay, as long as Robb goes home! :p

All I know is, I SHIP IT SO MUCH OH MY GOD SO MUCH.Of course I do, I'm pretty sure we've covered that already, lol! ;) In fact between that and Dany/Jorah and kind of shipping Jaimie/Cersei (but not as endgame), I feel we are pretty well-aligned in shipping for GoT ( ... )

I am happy that you seem to be happy with your shows! (read: I basically have no idea what you're talking about haha :P)

having to type out 90% of my reviews on my smartphone slows things down on that end as well

I know that feeling LOL. It takes longer than it does to watch the episodes! Or maybe that's just because I write ragey! angry! recaps, where upon reflection, I find more things to complain about. :P

Lol, thanks! ;) If you ever like period/family drama, you should check out The Borgias!

Oh yeah waaaaay longer, lol! And heh, even when I'm mostly squeeing, it takes a while, when there's a lot to squee about! ;) Your recaps are pretty detailed and image heavy though, so I imagine that would be a lot of work...(I am still an episode behind on SPN, oop).

(Aaaaaaaaand comment fail! Double fail b/c I think I replied in the wrong place. Sigh, time for bed LOL.)

I'll add it to my growing list of shows to watch :P

LOL, I'm up to date in the sense that I have no plans to watch the last episode that aired, because I can't stand Felicia Day.

For the last recap I did, I wrote notes on my phone as I watched and it came up to like 2000 words when I wrote it all out...*facepalm* I can't imagine what it'd be like if I actually liked the show. Heh. Luckily, my TV squee mostly remains in my head these days. :D

Yeah I mean her character is okay (I appreciated at least that she had a Correct Harry Potter Opinion re: R/Hr, lol), but yeah I don't get the Felicia Day love at all...:s

And if you ever get around to watching it, let me know! ;)

Oh god, Borgias. CESARE/LUCREZIA. I finally caught up and it is consuming my life. Like, I'd be in the middle of a driving lesson (on a safe and deserted part of the road, though, because I'm not that crazy) and have to force myself back to the present. I can't remember the last time I wrote episode reactions for single episodes.

though I liked seeing Cardinal Sassypants Sforza's expanded role continue as he stepped into Cesare's old role of Rodrigo's ally/point man within the Vatican

Lol the Sforzas should rule everything tbh.

along with the tension in his relationship with his father (which doesn't preclude shaving him and wheeling him around apparently, lol)

Haha, I found this hilarious. To be fair, Roderigo did just have a near-death experience, and Vanozza pounded it in him that their position was unstable without Roderigo - tends to close in on the family ranks.

I winced when Rodrigo said Cesare was his only son, lol

YEAH SAME. WILL NEVER NOT WONDER WHAT HAPPENED TO GIOFFRE.

the scenes still felt a little abrupt/off to me ( ... )

Lol bb, I AM SO GLAD YOU FINALLY CAUGHT UP! :DD Now you can see why I was so eager for you to do so last year. ;) IT DOES CONSUME YOUR LIFE!

I can't remember the last time I wrote episode reactions for single episodes.

Lol, yeah, same here--I've been really bad at doing reviews this year, but The Borgias (and GoT this time) are good enough to be worth it for me...

YEAH SAME. WILL NEVER NOT WONDER WHAT HAPPENED TO GIOFFRE.

I just assume he's still chilling in Squillace with his BAMF wife Sancia, and they just keep forgetting about him because you know, "out of sight, out of mind"! ;)

They've always had... uh... inappropriate physical boundaries.

They have, but still...almost-kissing in front of servants was pretty big/crossing a line even for them!

LOL MY FIRST SHIP. I am so ~conflicted~ now. DNW the sex, but yes to every single other moment of affection? And LMAO Roderigo/Vanozza was probably their first role model for affection (and they were still very affectionate in 1x01, imagine how they were just a few years before), ( ... )

Perhaps he was on his way back, got news of Juan's death, and was just like NOPE RUNNING AWAY.

before they'd even gotten to ~The Moment You've Been Waiting For~

? Was this a promo line? (I don't watch the promos).

I haven't felt this ecstatic over a fictional couple's scenes since reading The Indigo Spell! Oh my beloved OTPs involving blondes and unstable dark-haired men

Beloved OTPs involved unstable dark-haired men and blondes who understand them better than anyone else in the world :D

And everything you say about C/L in 3x03.

First the dressing scene, which was everything last week's armor scene SHOULD have been.

Lol, while watching the first part of 3x03, I actually wondered if I'd downloaded them in the wrong order, because that was EXACTLY MY THOUGHT. Only had this suspicion dashed when they talked about Cesare negotiating with Ferdinand.

And Lucrezia touching her mouth like, "omg, it happened" and overwhelmed with emotion was perfect and realistic as well.

My favourite part was when Cesare mutters "forgive me" and Lucrezia sort of chokes back a laugh. Her reaction being excuse me I have wanted this for ages, no ( ... )

Yep, it was this promo I think. SO FUNNY AND TRUE, talk abotu knowing and catering to your audience! ;)

Yep, exactly! ;) And in my case I can also add two other OTPs to this list: Gaius/Six and Imriel/Sidonie from the Kushiel's Legacy series...(Francois is my fancasting for Imriel, actually). I GUESS I HAVE A SHIP TYPE OR SOMETHING.

Lol, glad I wasn't alone there! ;) How funny...

Meh, I didn't find it much of a stretch. He'd already been sneered at by Ferdinand for being 'naive' in thinking his marriage might be real, not just a game, and in this one moment he just snaps. I think he'd take it back, if he had maybe five seconds to think about it.That's true! He probably was still chaffing at his uncle's dressing ( ... )

I was going to include 'who are alike though they appear on the surface to be exact opposites' but I figured that that would cut Gaius/Six out and Gaius/Six should never be excluded from things.

Caterina is definitely the best antagonist by far. The entire Sforza family is a thing of beauty, especially the cardinal and our HBIC.

ETA: Aww, I didn't mind Della Rovere. That scene where he slams a knife through the would-be assassin the Borgias sent to kill him was pretty badass.

Weeeellll not the entire Sforza family since obviously Giovanni and Ludovico were boars/rapists/creeps, BUT the rest are cool, yes! After 3x01 especially I was going, "SFORZAAAAAAS!!!! <333" because UGH Sforza family loyalties and tensions and badassery and feels. I love Ascanio and Caterina sfm atm, I can't even (the more I see them, the more my love for them grows). Sassing seems to be a family trait for them! :p

Oh yeah that was cool, and season 1 in general (and his ~grand entrance~ in 3x01 was priceless), but he just got really stale and tired, IMO, in season 2, especially by the end...too much of a one-note antagonist.
