*hugs back* Yes, there is that at least-maybe it's better that it's canceled now at its peak, rather than going on too long and ending on a boring and terrible note, a shadow of its former self (your icon reminds me of how much I don't care for TVD anymore, alas)...although on the other hand it was only going to be one more season anyway and never had the potential to go on for too long--and I feel they could haven maintained the quality still. *sigh* So much epic story left to tell!
Great minds...*hug* And yeah, I guess I will have to find a new fandom...or get more involved in the fandom for a show I currently watch, but aside from GoT (which is fun but not quite the same), I can't think of any big fandoms where I still watch the show religiously...:/ So many of my shows have gone downhill and I no longer care enough to be in fandom. At least this show never reached that point.
Also again, love that icon and the truth bomb it drops! ;) MTE from when I first began watching GoT, even though I grew to like J/C more while reading the books..before not liking them so much anymore.
I saw someone on tumblr say something to that effect (at least they didn't ruin the show or let it get crappy), and while I'm trying to take comfort... meh. :(((( I guess now we have to all try Borgia: Faith and Fear. If I can find it somewhere...
XD Yeah, I like J/C much more in the books - on screen it's like they haven't put any time into them at all, and they certainly haven't put much time into making their relationship romantic.
Yeah, but in terms of it getting crappy, there was only one more season anyway--it was never going to go on for season after season like some shows...although if Neil was really uninspired (and it sounds like he was in the movie tbh), maybe it is for the best...but ugh, way to let us down, Neil! :(
And do you mean the weird European production, Borgia? I know it's on Netflix (so I can see it easily), but I don't think that would help you...I still have to watch season 1. I hear mixed things about it (like their Cesare kind of sucks). I have renewed interest since finding out Savonarola is played by Ser Jorah Iain Glen, however! ;) But we should both watch it and compare notes!

(Trololo little did we know
