Had our first softball game last night. We got spanked! 20-4, but it was lots of fun. I'm hoping we will improve each game. Yesterday our water dispenser at home quit working. Yesterday was spent poolside and at the lagoon, a little shopping, then dinner at pf changs. We came back home and I fell right to sleep. It was bizzare I went from not being sleepy, sitting reading the newspaper to falling asleep in minutes. Must be the sun and fun catching up to me. Today more lagoon time. Spent yesterday at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Fun times! The dancing and druming were great. Loved the canoe pagent with all of the different villages represented. The luau not so great, but the show at the end of the evening was excellent. Stopped at Hilo Hatties before to do some shopping.

Walked to The Orchid  restaurant for breakfast. It was very good. Then we walked back along the beach walk. Got back to the room and changed into our suits. There are four pools here to use. Got to the airport a little later than planned, but everything went smoothly and we had time for breakfast and a couple much needed mimosas. The flight wasn’t too bad. I saw a great blue heron on my way to work this morning. It was just standing alongside SR14 down towards the fort. That's the second one (or maybe the same one) I've seen in that area in the past month. I just love them, they are so neat looking.

I'm reading "Crazy Aunt Purl's Home is Where the Wine Is"  and it is so funny that I was making little snorting sounds trying not to laugh out loud in the restaurant at lunch.

Tricia and I found the beach house yesterday. It's easy to get to. It's two miles south of Salishan. You turn right on Ocean View. 101 splits into two lanes both ways with a divider in the middle and I think Ocean view was the second road past the divide.
