~Down I go, twisting my ankle in the process~

It's pretty much healed now, a bit sore to pull on the boot but no problems standing on it for work.

The women in our family are a sorry lot. Nyssa broke her ankle before Christmas, my mother broke her leg in three places at the beginning of January and my sister broke her leg while Nyssa and I were away. It doesn't rain, it pours!

LOL, surprisingly, half the injuries took place indoors! Nyssa slipped on slush getting off a bus at the Rideau Centre. I hit the only small piece of ice at the shuttle stop in Newark. My mother fell on the cement floor in the basement of their house. My sister was taking their birdcages to the basement and fell down the stairs.

I kept waiting to hear that my niece had injured herself as well, but my sister said she'd wrapped her in bubble wrap as a precaution. :)
