Historical AU: Shit happened.

So, today got off to an auspicious start when I brewed a pot of coffee without actually remembering to put the pot on the machine. I ground the beans, measured the water, pushed start and then went to take a shower. Aaaaaaaand then spent 45 minutes cleaning my kitchen. T_____T

;aslkdfj pretty close!!! luckily, I'd only made half a pot, and a decent amount of it was still in the filter since it can't drain out the bottom without the pot. but UGH it overflowed the filter and then just went EVERYWHERE. GJ, ME.
