Well, I have been so thoughtfully informed by my head of house that the posting requirements for these journals do indeed apply to me. I do not see why they should, considering that I obviously have many a better thing to do than spend my days with my head bowed over parchment. I don't even like to write. But apparently no one took my feelings into ( Read more... )

I see your best friend has been neglecting you, as well...though I think Blaise puts forth more effort than Sammy. He at least sat down with me a few weeks ago to have a serious, in depth, lovely conversation...

I can't say much for the days in between, but I'm hoping to snag him again this weekend...

Relationships, dear Tracey, appear to sap men's mind of all thought...

Ah well. Would you care to work on the Transfiguration with me? I don't know if Dumbledore would grant a pass for shopping, but if we said we were doing some sort of research...maybe he'd let us go then, and if we happened to pick up a few new pairs of shoes in the course of our research, then so much the better...

Do let me know, dear, if you'd like to try.

You are lucky. I am fortunate if Sammy even looks my way these days. It's horrible, and enough to make me want to take out the claws, but I am refraining as best I can.

You are undoubtedly correct. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to care to inform me of whatever it is that he's getting himself into presently.

I'd quite like that. You are ever sly, Pansy. We must ask him immediately.

Indeed. And I've grown rather fond of Terry, so I don't suppose I mind too terribly that he's constantly stealing Blaise's attention from me...

Well, you must endeavor to discover it some other way, if he's not going to tell you...nefarious methods are ever so much fun, you know...

Wonderful. Now...what are we doing research for that would require us to go into Hogsmeade?

Well then, I suppose it's not too bad.

They are... perhaps you can assist me, in coming up with some sort of way to find out? I don't like not even knowing whether or not I am fond of whoever is stealing Sammy's attention away. I fear that it might be someone completely horrible, and that's why he hasn't told me - due to embarassment or some such.

Hm. I honestly cannot think of a single thing...

And, would you mind if Daphne came along as well, should we think up a way to get out of here?

You seem to be having about as much luck as I at avoiding these blasted journals.

I've found, though, that if you make comments on other people's journals, the Professors aren't as likely to yell at you about not writing entries of your own...

Which isn't to say I'm not about to go make a silly entry, as Professor Snape noted just this morning that I'd made no comments whatsoever on anyone else's journals and still hadn't made an entry of my own...

I do wish you luck with your fainting and shopping, though.

I would comment on the journals of others, if only they weren't so boring. No one of interest has been posting - not you, not Morag, not Pansy, et cetera, and I will certainly not lower myself to making idle comments in a random Hufflepuff or Gryffindor's journal, as they seem to be the only ones that have the pathetically large amounts of free time to post.

Obviously you feel the same, if you're not commenting as well. And thank you, dear.

I think, then, that in order to keep us both from receiving detentions, I shall simply post a little more often, so long as you promise to do the same...and we will comment to each other...

Precisely.

You're more than welcome.
