i miss x-mas.  still have all my decorations up because the thought of taking them down is too sad.  plus there are still gifts under the tree because i never see my friends.  perhaps i should re-wrap and save them for b-days?

having the same conversation over and over again at work (plus my friends never hang out anymore) has made it hard for me

oh god, we're so emo :) I feel the same about interactions and today I was seriously off-kilter too. why can't you teach full time? because of the funding thing?

you should be able to open a little school and be the schoolmater :)

I should be able to back cookies and read books my whole life so I can ignore the world in all it's nastiness.

omg we should open a school with a top-notch kitchen and all the students can buy your yummy things instead of nasty cafeteria food!! heh

as for not teaching: the population i really want to work with is adult. so i need a master's degree so i can get a job at a college or something (well, college kids are arguably "adult" but you know). but i am terrified of debt, already into it up to my eyeballs and barely scraping by. grad school? i wish!
