Crossposting

Crossposting from Dreamwidth isn't working all that well these days. So, it may be time to turn it off. I haven't been ready to pull the plug for a long time, as I've been with LJ since 2002.

In the meantime, only some entries are being posted here, not all.

Just curious - what are the good things about dreamwidth? I know there are a lot of cross posters, just wondering what I might be missing.

Dreamwidth was created on a "fork" of the original LJ software. So, it's older. When LiveJournal got purchased by a Russian company, lots of people left LJ because, basically, your content is owned by the Russian state now. The LJ English translation of the user agreement is no longer legally binding, only the Russian version is. Things like that drove people to Dreamwidth.
