OMG my mom, sister, and I have bitched about this together SO MUCH! Sttrangers will even approach us like "Why aren't you smiling, honey?" Sorry we don't walk around grinning like idiots.

And the reverse happens too--when I'm really smiley and excited, people will tell me to calm down or make fun of me for THAT. So annnnooyyying.

Strangers always tell me to smile at work.
They're like "Are you having a bad day, sweetie? Smile!"
I'm like "Um...no I'm fine...???????!!!!!"
I think they take it personally or something. So aggravating.
