this is silly and middle school, but if someone tells you "i miss you" is it kinda like "i love you" meaning, should you just say it back... so you don't hurt the other persons feelings

yea kinda. but it matters how you say it too, if it sounds like you're just repeating it or if it sounds like you mean it.

yeah that is what i kind of figured, i really try not to say things i don't mean, but for the sake of avoiding an argument, sometimes it just isn't worth it :)
