So, flist! Tell me, how do you clean your sheer curtains? I've checked online and it all seems to make sense but I'm still all D: because trust me, I've ruined some before so I don't want to make the same mistake again

One thing I do not do is iron. I hang them up while they are still damp and run my hands over them to smooth them down. They dry without a wrinkle and no chance of scorching them! Plus it's way easier. It's a trick my Mom taught me as a kid. I do suppose it might differ depending on what fabric the sheers are made of.
I am luckily spending Christmas at my Aunt's home so no need to frantically clean my place top-to-bottom. Good luck!
The no dryer no iron seems to be the consensus, and it does seem easier...I wonder what I did to ruin my old ones...probably put them in the dryer for way too long.
Thank you! and enjoy not having to do all the cleaning :D
No curtains, just blinds which get dusting now and then. I don't clean madly for holidays as they just include us, and my MIL. There is a party here Friday, and it is Tiff's job to clean for that. Cheese, you honestly clean more than I ever do!

I uh, stuff my curtains in the washer, then hang 'em up to dry. Amazingly they're all still alive and well.

Ok, so the consensus is to hang them up. I'm so scared! *meep*
but if I ruin them, then at least we can get new ones? y/y
