Yesterday was my first day back at work after two and a half weeks of fairly severe illness. I only lasted about an hour and a half, but today I managed most of the day. I'm now half asleep, and hoping to be back to it tomorrow ( Read more... )

Oh, poor thing!

I understand in the US it's something people tend to get a mild dose of in childhood, so are immune to as adults. Bad luck.

It's my firm intention! I've submitted the application, and while I won't hear for definite until April 1st it all seems very promising.

I'll be getting to LA the week beginning June 20th, if all goes to plan :-)

I had that as a child & was most miffed as I had to have 2 weeks off school.

I thought I had it for a while. A few people who got it seemed to get over it in 4-5 days, and it took me 20 days. :-(
