Hello my lovelies! I've not been very active with ANY of my blogging platforms lately. You look fabulous! And the bikini is adorable!

I haven't lost any weight yet, but I am making some strides toward wellness. I'm going to a wellness retreat in July where they offer classes on healthy eating and yoga. It's in upstate NY in the middle of the woods and there' a spa, too! So slowly but surely.

Keep up the good work! You look great!

I think you strive towards healthiness, the weight loss will follow. I'm probably not as healthy as I COULD be (could probably eat more veggies, less french fries & ice cream) but I think of myself as a work in progress. I don't think I'm ever going to be "finished" because even when I get to a point where I am totally satisfied with my health & my body, I'll still have things I'll need to do to maintain that.

I would LOVE to go to something like that! I've been thinking about trying some yoga classes as a counterpoint to my running, but haven't had the spare scratch for it yet. Have fun with that retreat though!

1. What sort of stretches do you do before your run?
2. How do you ward of cramps?
3. This isn't a question, but: HOLY SHIT, NINE MILES??

1. I don't stretch before I run, but I do stretch after. I do the pulling-my-foot-into-my-butt stretch and the one-foot-in-front calf stretch. Then I sit with one leg bent so my foot is against the inside of my thigh with the other leg stretched out and I grab my toes on that foot and streeeeetch, then I switch & do the other leg. My fave stretch is to sit with my feet pressed bottom-to-bottom & my knees bent outwards, then I grab my toes and pull my body forward. Oh that feels so good sometimes that I literally moan out loud.
