early this morning, as my sis and i were carpooling, we ALMOST hit a brown herring gull. and by almost, i mean we were probably an inch away to smushing it!!!! it's a good thing sis hit the brakes hard and that there were no cars behind us

yea.. poor bird! :(

my cousin says the city picks them up... but.. how can they run on the road and pick them up? they could get hurt! (like the bird. eek!)
