I'm a Photic Sneezer - is anyone?

Apparently, most people that are assume everyone else is one if they are themselves - like me - I just assumed it happens to everyone....

Am I alone in my photic sneezeing?

If this means sneezing when you step out of shade into sunlight, then I am too. :) Everytime.

I was told at some point that looking into bright light is supposed to help ANYONE sneeze...

Ah but you see that's where you're wrong! Doesn't work for everyone - only photic sneezers!!

::giggles:: Yes, I know that now! At least I know that it's actually supposed to work. When the person told me, I thought maybe it was an urban legend kind of thing...

No it work's! It's a life saver when you really need to sneeze and it just won't come out - I just look at a light and I'm sorted :D

Yeah, I heard that if you look at lights it's supposed to help you sneeze or something. Never work for me, though. Oh well.

You are most definitely not alone! This happens to me about 85% of the time that I step into a bright light, particularly when going outside from inside.

I always figured it happened to everyone at some point. Thanks for the link! Pretty interesting reading.
