I've never been all that big of a fan of America, yet New York City has this incomprehensible draw on me. The design I'm well aware of: balled up memories comprised of electricity that make the hairs on my arms and neck stand on end. It's not typical that I'm unnerved; therefore I find it oddly exhilarating. And every time we're together in this ( Read more... )

I don't have a problem with America, there are things about New York which I'll always enjoy and small details, silly little stories which have been built in different cities which makes me appreciate them. But there is something about London that would make it impossible for me to leave.

Random comment brought to you by Jason's wasted persona.

It's good to know you're taking a break, I'll make sure to attend at least one of your concerts, you blokes are amazing onstage.

I will admit that I have had a few good times in America, but on a whole, it's not the place for me. Manchester and now London are home and always will be. I can't imagine myself anywhere else.

I'm always game for random, feel free to share at any time, mate.

We'll be back in the UK in August. We've had a bit of a break, but after too long it makes me antsy when doing nothing. I'm happiest on the road or in the studio.

The only great thing about America is when we come over our money is worth more. *cracks Up*

I like visiting Barry in New York. Shopping in New York and pissing all over California.

I can't wait to get back home. I am trying to get Ben to Leave earlier, but he has some things he has to do.

Where have you been? I should do a better job of keeping track of you and Stef, but you know me - my head often firmly planted in my arse. Of course, you wouldn't have me any other way, would you?

And as I lay there sleeping, I felt the moment of panic when I felt what was happening. I remember reaching back behind me and touching your face and your hair. I heard you whisper my name and suddenly every sense I had turned over to amplified pleasure. You do this to me. Only you.

I miss Emily terribly, too. Just as she draws pictures including me among her loved ones. Having only your words about her... watching you go breathless as you've spoke of her over the years... Her birth, infancy... her first everythings... Meeting her for the first time left me breathless, and I'm finding myself in places I never thought I'd be and loving it with all the lavishness of your face the first time she uttered the words "daddy" to you over the phone as we sat on my living room floor.

I'll never fall into a typical color scheme. I'll never fall into an easy pattern. It's a blessing and a curse. But without you, I'd be alone in this world. You suit me quite beautifully, my love.

There's much to be said for the element of surprise. That and your languid body next to mine, soft and creamy. I awake and my senses get the best of me. And this is the power you have over me. Power I know you're very aware of.

It was always a bit strange. As the proud father, I always enjoy boasting, but it is typically controlled boasting. But you coaxed details out of me and we would sit up late at night and whisper about the wonder of creation and how a tiny child turned my world on its ear. I'd be a strikingly different man without her in my life, and I know how fortunate that makes me.

You see, your intricate layers is what drew me to you, never afraid to march to your own beat. I was a fly to fly paper with little choice of where I would stick. I don't believe in fate, but I do believe in taking advantage of situations. How lucky I am that I don't have confidence issues or I never would have spoken to you, that night at the juke box.
