A friend shared with me tonight that she used to be concerned that I was a bit too brutal to John, taking advantage of my size over him. From the outside, I suppose this makes a lot of sense if I try to scrutinize it, but I never really thought people looked at our relationship or me in such a fashion. I won't deny it took time to listen to your pleas of trust, to believe in them. But slowly I have learned. No one else has able to keep up with the glide of my feet and sway of my hips, so you were the obvious choice. Yes, choice. Despite knowing that the world would find one way or another to cause us to collide.
