Aw, Man... hell. What you said and have offered me with your medical knowledge was just right. Thank you so much. Be assured I will be putting queries your way. Not wanting to burden Mum with a bombardment of questions, nor overtax Dad who's going to be her biggest ally and support besides the three of us kids... your offer of your knowledge and support to ME is priceless.
Thanks so much, Hun. That means the world to me. My Mum is one of my very foundations... to feel my internal "earth" shifting like this is my own personal tsunami - forgive the perhaps macabre comparison... there is simply nothing else to compare it to as far as I'm concerned. My world is shaken.
Breast Cancer is very curable these days hon, I know it is impossible NOT to worry, but get all the info, a freind of mine's Mom just had a lumpectomy for her cancer this summer, no radiation or chemo even! If it is caught early and not one of the rarer types she probably has a good prognosis. Love ya Alana
Thanks, Hun. I'm really *trying* to not "pass judgement" until all the facts are in... right now all I know is that it was malignant, and nothing more. This has just been a terrible blow to our family - Mum's family, for her sister is near the Veil as is another one of her brothers... and there's Uncle Finn who just Crossed Over a few weeks ago after his motor cycle accident, and yet *another* brother of hers is also not doing well. (Irish Catholic family - 9 siblings, 2 of which Crossed Over in the last 3 years nearly back-to-back, 3 with the proverbial "one foot on each Side", another who JUST Crossed, and now this with Mum, it's kinda spooky...)...
Thanks for showing me the flat of the blade where I could only see the sharpened edge. You're an awesome Sword Sister.
Thanks, Hun. We'll take any and all magickal workings on her behalf for her good health and strength for the Path that is unfolding before her. It IS an incredibly scary time for us... knowing that my Family of Choice is here for me all across the country makes a world of difference in my heart's stoutness.
Thanks, Sweetie... right now, we can use all the support we can muster from near and afar. I'll let everyone know more as we learn more about the Path that is unfolding before Mum, and thereby us.
