Su has a new Muggle, so here is the newly revised character sheet. Not too many changes, but I want to make Su my own. Updated: 6 April 2007

Phobias/Fears: Insects. Especially roaches. Especially especially the huge scary ones that come out in the hot, humid Chinese summer. Also not a fan of heights.
Mental Health: Stable, with a bit of anxiety disorder in stressful situations. If she feels she is in the right, she can be very stubborn and strong-willed.
Personality
Goals/Dreams: Having lived in two different cultures, she is very interested in Intercultural Communication and International Understanding. The daughter of diplomats, she would love to someday be involved in the Ministry in that capacity. She used to get very frustrated during History of Magic, because there was no mention of non-Western Wizarding tradition, and so this is an issue she'd love to change, but she's not quite sure how to go about doing so.
Quirks/Habits: She is utterly addicted to chapstick. She has lots of nervous energy, and often figits with her jewelry, plays with her hair, drums her fingers on the table, etc.

Current Occupation: Su works in the Ministry, as junior staff at the Department of International Cooperation. She doesn't like it as much as she thought she would, though.
Current Finances: Her family escaped to Shanghai after Su's 6th year, and are financially comfortable. Su has a small amount of Muggle money of her own, but she doesn't want to rely on her parents any longer, so finding a way to support herself is very important.
Role During the War: She was in China for the duration of the war. Her family cut off all connections with Britain, but Su kept in touch with Lisa, who kept her abreast of major news.
Why have they come to Stoatshead: She had a recent falling out with her family, so the war ended at a very good time. She feels the need to escape her family and prove that she can survive on her own. Also, she feels guilty for being safe in Shanghai while her friends were fighting and dying, so she wants to help rebuild Wizarding society.
Current Role Post-War: She hopes to help rebuild in whatever capacity best suits her. On a personal level, Su hopes to reconnect with old friend and hopefully make some new ones.

Family History: Her parents were from a rural part of China, where Muggles and Wizards knew of one another's existance and interacted. Her parents were both exceptional students and won scholarships for further study in the City. With a similar family history, they fell and love and were married. They moved to Shanghai, where her father Ming, a Muggle, and mother Yee Ling, a Witch, got jobs as diplomats in their respective governments. They were posted to England, where their two children were born and raised. They moved back to Shanghai after Su's 6th year, where they lived with her extended family, who had since moved to the big city. Su didn't want to leave Hogwarts, and she is currently unhappy with her parents for their role in a failed romance. Thus she is determined to prove herself by moving to Stoatshead. She really does love her parents, but she has very British values, having been raised and schooled in the UK, and these ideas conflict with her parents' traditional Chinese values.

Height: 4' 11 1/2" - She's the shortest in her family by a good margin and has sort of a hang-up about her height, especially now that she's back in England where everyone is so damn tall!
Weight: 100 lbs--she really is a tiny little thing

Manner of Speech: She speaks rather quickly, and occasionally uses unusual grammer--this means she's thinking in Chinese on that particular day. She speaks English, Mandarin, and Shanghainese fluently. She might mumble if she's feeling a bit awkward.
