Today I bury my Grandma. I have been falling apart since Tuesday and I think I will fall apart today. Tomorrow, I bury my uncle. I have to be strong for the family but I know that I am going to fall apart considering here I sit waiting to leave for the viewing and the funeral and tears run from my eyes. Today, at 2am... my uncle (my dad's brother) died.

My grandma passed away this morning at 4am. At least she went peacefully and had someone holding her hand. But, still, my heart breaks.

My grandma isn't doing so well. She is barely eating and she says that she can't breathe. After the 2 liters of liquid that they took out of her lungs, you would think it would take a little while to build back up. My brother is coming in town, hopefully, Saturday to help me move and then Sunday we are all going to go visit with Grandma. Things ( Read more... )

Epiphanies are such great things. I guess it takes a little time to get to the point of being able to say "Yeah, that's right!" I've been melancholy lately. It's a culmination of things but one of them being that I miss my friends in Pittsburgh. I find myself really missing them and not being able to hang out with them when I want to makes it that much harder.
