Here's the raw data for my run workout tonight. Each line represents 1/10 mile. The first number is the total elapsed time at the time of the split. The second number [starting with line 11] represents the individual split time. That's the time to run 1/10th of a mile. were you running 10 minute miles?

The first mile was a 10:00 mile, the second was 9:05 and the third was around 8:28 [assuming I went another 10th at a 50 second interval]. Pretty much right where I wanted to be at the end [maybe a lil faster, but I did what I needed to do]
