I think I hold a little strange feeling towards our vegetable farmer right now. I went there and bought 2kg (4.4lb) of cherries. She put them in their standard plastic bag. Once headed home, at a certain point, the bag burst along the bottom seam.

Shit happens. Once had the same with a bottle of coke. That's a mess... the bottom bursted open... ever seen a bottle fly about 200 meters?

That's because of the CO2. I've read once about a child that suffered a major injury because it let fall a bottle (glass) of sparkling water. You can kill with fizzy beverages in glass bottles, it's like a grenade.

I worked at AH for about 5 years, once I was doing an action stand, filling it with Coke. A bottle fell, probably a weak bottom. BOOM! It flew through the store, across the floor. Ended up in the milk department. Customers looked kinda strange at the empty bottle ;)

Lol at first, I just stood there in the middle of a flood of cherries, staring at the catastrophe, thinking literally nothing.

Stupid is it burst some 20 meter from our house, but on the other hand, I had it with me all the way to the supermarket, IN the supermarket, in the mall ... Now I can say I'm VERY glad the bag held it out to the road 8)
