The first sentence out of my mom's mouth when she passed me in the hall at work? "Did you watch Leeeena last night?" (Yes, she really did say it with emphasis on the 'eee.') My family is awesome, I can't even.

But yes. YES I WATCHED LENA ON LAW & ORDER: SVU. LENA OLIN WAS NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING. I LOVE HER SFM.

( I also seemed to have picspammed it, without meaning to. It only started as a few pics, but suddenly morphed into being a lot more pics. YAY LENA! )

I'm so glad Lena hasn't fallen into the Hollywood trap of botox and face lifts. She is aging so beautifully!

I didn't realize until only this past season of Desperate Housewives just how attractively yummy Richard Burgi is. So of course they kill him off. NOT HAPPY, SHOW.

Have you never seen Lena Olin before? GO WATCH ALIAS RIGHT NOW. OR CHOCOLAT. OR BOTH. SERIOUSLY.

I haven't watch DH for forever but I remember LOOOVING him. I didn't know he died!! Not like I was ever gonna watch it anyway.

I've seen Chocolat. With Jonny Depp right? Very lovely movie.

Yep. Chocolat has Johnny Depp. It's my most favorite movie. :) Lena plays the abused wife.

I actually thought that she'd end up dead too. Haha! I was so scared for her during that episode, but I also kinda thought that she had something to do with her client's death.

But they still didn't quite explain why she wasn't fazed about cold-blooded murder. It's not as if she witnessed that every day.

And she was magniflorious when she was being all lawyerly, and vulnerable and ice queen-y. In short, she was magnificent all throughout the ep. AND SHE HAD SCENES WITH EVERYBODY!

When she was at the jail and Wrongly Accused Man was yelling at her "TWENTY YEARS!!" I really was sure he'd kill her once he got out. I was terrified. YOU DON'T KILL LENA OLIN, OK. Thankfully, the SVU writers agree with me. He wound up saving her in the end. Twisty!

Killing these kinds of characters (morally ambiguous, yet inching towards the white hats), is a staple with SVU. And then you factor in the fact that Lena's character was killed horribly in Alias makes the thought of dead-Lena-character terrifying.

I still think Ingrid Block is another Irina Derevko alias... in a parallel universe.

I was going to say Irina is hiding out as Ingrid, but then remembered Ingrid worked for Richard Burgi for at least 22 years. I guess Irina could have been living a triple life? It'd be tough on a normal person, but this is Irina Fucking Derevko. She could pull it off, no sweat.

OH HOW I'VE MISSED MY LENA I was already wanting to rewatch Alias and NOW IT HAS BECOME A NECESSITY OMIGAWSH.

I used to have the awesomest Irina icons and then I lost my paid account. BOO.

Season 2 of Alias still holds the record for amount of time it took me to watch -- 2 days.

I have only this icon. I feel the need to rectify but am way too lazy to go in search of more.

She is still so gorgeous! I said this somewhere above, but I am so glad Lena didn't fall into the trap of botox and plastic surgery. One of the most beautiful "over 50" actresses.
