Please tell me someone else is watching/has watched Merlin. I'm eight episodes in, and have been following links to merlin fanfics, and now I have a tab open to a community devoted to merlin meta. and it's one in the morning and I CAN'T STOP. This is ridiculous. gah.

Rio, what exactly is Merlin? an anime? Wiki doesn't have anything on it, and i've been hearing flocks of people obsessing over it...

Merlin is a TV show broadcast by the BBC about Merlin and Arthur of Camelot, except Merlin's roughly the same age as Arthur, and also his manservant. It's hilarious, and mockable, but also has such good characters, and Merling asking Gwen, in a total teenage girl kind of way, "So, just for the sake of argument, if you had to, which would you rather...?" and gesturing toward Arthur and Lancelot. And yes, he means exactly what you think he means. I love this show.
