I don't want to say anything bad about Arashi, but I will say that pop music is so dependent on auto tune when it comes to covering up pitchiness, and that's why when it comes to singing live, singers can't sing properly

It wasn't their fault actually, it was a sound problem which FujiTV has already admitted to and apologized for and you can obviously tell that their mics were not turned on at first and not working properly throughout. Their earpieces were also not on causing them to not be able to hear themselves or each other and thus they tried to make their voices heard over the live musicians which is why they all went off pitch.

Anyone who listened to it knows they weren't on pitch, so it has nothing to do with perfect pitch or not having perfect pitch.
