A lot of critters on Scribophile picked on my lack of emotions in Chattanooga chapter 1. I agree with their assessment. Emotion is something I need to work on. Now I've come to a realisation. It came from an unlikely source - a book I utterly hate. More generally, it came from a survey of other authors' interpretations of Sherman's character.
