not at all.....and i'm curious....are u christian at the moment? cuz if so i dont see whats to convert, aside from minor details, both religions are so similar...lol
I am not Christian at the moment, no. I was raised Christian just like pretty much every other American kid, but I was raised Protestant. For the past say 6 or so years I've been resisting placing myself into one religion (see reply to the other comment here for more info). To answer your question about the differences, they are very similar, however I went to a Catholic Mass on Dec 8 and I was lost. They do so much stuff different than Protestants do. Much more involved. You must technically convert to Catholicism however to be accepted by the church as a member and to be able to receive communion.
As said above, I've been resisting placing myself into one religion for about 6 years or so now. I studied religion while in college and found each of them to hold some truth. I've found that all religions hold the same basic ideas and it's up to you to make it what you will. I always said that if I decided to go back to Christianity, I would want to study/join the Catholic Church. I've recently started becoming interested in the Church in general and so it seemed fitting. Yes, to answer the question that I KNOW you are poking at, Bryan is Catholic, however that only makes him a "tool" if you will in my journey down the road of Catholicism. Who knows, I may even decide that it's not for me, but I am at least interested in learning more about it and becoming involved in it.
