This is why some people should not be allowed to raise children. Or at least should have to take and PASS some kind of parental training course. Hell, your Dad probably started out with good intentions, but his ignorance and then gleeful sadism got in the way of you learning a proper life lesson.

I really like this. I've heard you tell the story more than once and it's still different and exciting. The fact that you pulled back the covers to investigate shows a strong spirit. You confronted things, in your own way. I like this a whole lot.

Drinking can help you forget long enough to sort things out clearly, looking at things in a different light. We've had some good times and even though I would never wish anything bad to happen to anyone (especially not my Jeli) I can tell that this is one of those experiences that shapes who you are and I love who you are.

You've come a long way and you have quite a bit to be proud of.

Yay you! And thanks for writing. I know what it's like to have something to say and not say it. I know what it's like for people to write all around you and not getting involved. I even know what it's like for people to pressure you into it. I love that this is easy breezy, smooth and delicious and filling, definitely something you read and remember and think about again and again.

Love you!
