That awkward moment when you're excited to write a fill for the kink meme because the prompt was really cool and you had a good idea for it and you busted out the fic real quick and it was a good fic and you haven't written proper fic in ages only to realize you misinterpreted the prompt and wrote it backwards.

lol it happens sometimes, I think? Well, some of my fills turned out quite... differently from the original prompt, and it's worse for me because I didn't actually misinterpret the prompt itself. It just... wrote itself out that way. Yeah. >_>

But on a serious note, if it still sort of fits the prompt, and if you think the fic's written well enough, I don't see anything wrong with it per se?

It's awkward because, well, basically the prompt was the loser of a war kills the winner as a form of catharsis.

I wrote it as the winner kills the loser as a form as catharsis.

You see where the problem is... OP still liked it though, but now I just feel silly
