The Rules of Attraction is one of the weirder movies that I've ever seen. Tho, I'm not going to turn down James Van Der Beek making out with some guy. Not to mention the ex-models dancing around in their underwear.

You need to read the book. Paul (the gay boy's name, although he's bi in the book cause everyone is bi in the world of Bret Easton Ellis) is convinced he and James Van Der Beek's character (I'm wanting to say Sean) are dating and you don't know if he and Sean are actually a couple or not. Bret Easton Ellis is some good, fucked up stuff.

yeah i bought it - i thought it was REALLY weird... but it was totally worth it with ian somerhalder being HOT as usual throughout the movie and he was gay which was nice :)
