just finished watching Fuck (2005) followed by Shortbus (2006). Really good flicks, completely different, yet connected. I remember back when I watched Return of the Living Dead and some other movie, I think Pump Up The Volume in the same night and how I connected those. great little double-feature you booked for yourself. cle-ver. have yet to see Fuck, but I thoroughly enjoyed Shortbus. that was my New York, a city of the walking wounded, seeking to find a connection, any connection. I suppose that's why I miss it so. I belonged.

but. whatever.

the conclusion of your mini-review is quite beautiful, I must admit. and you capture the ethos, the spirit, the soul of the film quite well.

[a little production-related anecdote: a friend involved heard that I had been doing sex-work, and asked if I could be a sextra. I still wish I had done it. could've been redeeming. certainly would have been fun.]
