It's based on a book by the same title, evidently, which spans several centuries in the past, present, and future. I guess it's been widely regarded as completely unfilmable, so the fact that the Wachowskis are even attempting it is remarkable. I'd say stupid, but if the trailer is any indication, they... might actually pull it off.

Also every other excellent actor ever, ohmigod. Whaaaaaaaat is this movie about, there's so much going on! :O But it sure looks beautiful, doesn't it?
