mainly it's for the meat. each of these deer has about 200 pounds of usable meat on them. most of it goes to steaks, some to hot dogs and some gets ground. i donate the hides to furtakers. they (the hides) don't sell for any more than a couple bucks, so i just give them to people that need or can use them.

these deer are fairly big compared to the deer i'm use to hunting in pennsylvania. they are about twice the size. it's kinda fortunate the the antlers are pretty big because it gives me something to show people.
