It's been a bad day

A patient that I had been following for the past month died today. :(  It was unexpected.  She was only 47 years old.

She was admitted to the hospital about a month ago with severe diverticulitis.  So, the GI surgeon performed an colectomy (removal of part of her large intestine and reattached it) last month.  Well, after the surgery she wasn't

Thanks Elizabeth. I've been trying so hard to get my fitness back now. Not sure what has motivated me, but I hope it continues!

Thanks for the support Heather. I still think about her everyday. It's kind of surreal actually. I keep thinking about how she most likely did not realize that when she went back into the hospital that they wouldn't be able to save her. I feel really bad for her children and husband.

Thanks for the kudos on my workouts. I guess I don't think 9.5 min mile is anything great because I used to be under an 8 min mile 4 years ago. Maybe if I can get 10 more pounds off my ass, it will speed up my time! Heehee!

I need to download some new pics of the boyz. It been a while since posting some.

Yeah, I think we have decided that staying outside of Boston will be better. That means I can spend that money we saved on clothes, right? HA!
