Why the Olympics are so motivating

 Saturday night, I stayed up to watch the women's marathon.  Despite USA not doing so hot, it was quite motivating.

So, yesterday morning, I was scheduled for my 6 mile run on the treadmill.  After DH left for work at 5 am, I went back to bed until the boyz woke me up at 8 am.  Ahhh.  Heaven to be able to sleep in on a Sunday.  Anyways, I was ( Read more... )

GO YOU! I really want to get into running, it's just so haaaarrrdd (insert whine here). I do love spinning though- maybe I should ge ta bike. :)

Ugh- I was SO sad to see Deena Kastor drop out- she was our fave. Have you seen "Spirit of the Marathon?" It's AWESOME!

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I've been slacking. Thanks for the kudos on the running. I totally am having Olympic withdrawals. It was so much easier exercising while watching the Games.

Thanks hon. Crew is awesome. I would probably kill myself now if I tried it. I used to row before I had my two back surgeries, so I am sure that it wouldn't be so good for me now.

Good for you! That is great I really wish I can get into running but never could Only light running and mostly walking on teh treadmill :-)

Hey Candy. I learned how to run when I did Crew in college. Always hated it before that. I alwys say that it is important to do what you love to do for exercise. Gotta love something that makes you sweat.

YAHOOOO! A sub hour 10K is AWESOME you are a really talented runner, I too find the Olympics motivating.

I think Rowin is awesome, it looks sooo hard!

Hey Jen. Gosh, I have soooo many questions for you regarding running. Just can't remember them right now. They usually come to me when I am on the treadmill, and I always think of you first. I might have to pick your brain later if I can remember them (old age sucks a$$!).
