[Aegis is standing in the middle of the town today. She is seemingly talking to the local wildlife. At several points she tilts her head but continues speaking to the animals.]

I agree, Tori-san. The woods are really no place to stay at night in this world.

The little makers are pretty much taking care of themselves, Alia and Jenova aren't doing anything too crazy, there are no crises to deal with and he's explored his biweekly self-allotment of the ruins. So when he sees a girl in the center of town talking to animals, he thinks the day is finally going to get interesting. He parks himself as far off as he can get and still make it out and observes.]
