Wow, everyone and everything in this story is so intriguing! I can't wait for more information! I loved the chapter and was so glad to see you back with it. Randall continues to give me the creeps and Alma is annoying me already. Loved the stable and horses. A few questions were answered in this chapter and many more mysteries are looming. This was fantastic Jen...a chapter full of really interesting insights and intriguing plot developments. Its clear that Randall's an ass, but I'm not actually sure about Jack either. I'm not saying I compare him to Randall, but at the moment he seems....a little self-absorbed. He seems to want to get Ennis alone with him, but he doesn't seem eager to get to know him much. He seemed to be genuinely concerned about Ennis's uncertainty about getting on a horse, but that soon changed when Ennis got the call. It wasnt exactly Ennis's fault that he had to go back to work, since Jack took Ennis out of work to go to the stables. Why did he have to act that way? Poor Ennis....and even if Jack isn't interested, I want to know who's picture Ennis carries in his wallet....

I really love this story, Jen, its wonderfully written and full of so much interesting things, I love all the quirky details! I'm so glad the craziness of RL has calmed down a abit for you x

I really like how you keep us on our toes! Nothing predictable here. Jack driving like a a man possessed through the parking lot was hilarious, and it's fascinating to see how quickly his moods can change. From maniacal with Randall, to proud and caring with Twilight, to gentle and concerned with Ennis (and another intriguing backstory there - I wonder who he "lost") and then ..... I'm not sure what kind of mood that was after Ennis got the call.... hmmm. Great stuff - looking forward to more! Thanks.
