[Whoa. That's a face Athrun hasn't seen in a long time. He notices, though, that she doesn't seem to recognize him, so he keeps quiet about that.]

[Athrun sees her, too, and begins making his way over himself. Before he does anything else, he has one question to ask:]

Good, so they didn't hurt you. They must have given you quite a scare, though, huh.

I don't know about everybody else, but I do know at least that there weren't any fatalities. Rise has a broken arm, and Yayoi...

[The words get stuck in Athrun's throat. He knows how vital an idol's voice is to her, and knows that Lacus will understand that better than even he can.]

...Yayoi has lost her voice.

I spoke to Yayoi ... what she is going through ... [ Touches her own throat. ] I can't imagine going through --- [ She couldn't even say it. It was true that she wasn't an idol anymore, but her voice was as important to her as it always was. ]

[He's been worrying about this whole thing since Rise told him about it - and only more so since he actually saw the news broadcast. This whole ordeal is extremely not cool. His expression is clouded; it definitely shows in his face he's been worrying, maybe more than he should.]

A-at least you got there okay. That... everyone did, mostly. The Pokémon -- shit we'll find a way for everyone to get them back, too.

[Is he sure how to help? Not right now, but dammit, he wants to try.] Just... keep an eye out in Saffron, if you're still there.

I intend to, for as long as I'm here. I'm heading back to Goldenrod in a couple days, though. Let's see how well I can shake off this exhaustion in the meantime.

I just -- there's always a chance something big can happen there. It's hard to tell since you guys all just got there, but... a lot of Team Rocket's stuff was based right out of Saffron back in the games, so they could still have a base of operations somewhere there.

[ Maria has no clue about everything that happened, really. It's why she looks a little bit surprised before frowning in worry at the screen. ]

I'm okay, Maria. I wasn't hurt. I'm just exhausted is all.

Maria would have been re-ally worried if Athrun would have gotten hurt!

Don't worry, I'm built plenty strong. I've been hurt before, but I've always recovered. And this time, I'm sure I'll shake this exhaustion off with time.
