I’ve been run down and have had a runny nose so I had a covid test yesterday morning at the drive through clinic at Highpoint.
It was worse this time round. The swab was put right up BOTH nostrils as well as my throat.
Playing the waiting game now. It sucks not being allowed outside at all until I get the results back. I’m expecting a negative - no covid - and will be devastated if it shows as positive. Then Luke and Caleb will have to go through it all and who knows what could happen to them with their specific sensitivities. Luke has an artificial heart valve (because of a hole in his heart since birth) and Caleb likely have severe asthma (along with his eczema).
In other news - I have to apply for / cluster bomb apply for jobs in Melbourne because my role post maternity leave will be Canberra based. I really can’t be bothered moving back there again. At least not in the next twelve months anyway.
