thanks for the talking soft tip :)

we have a program called CATI (computer assisted Telephone .... cant remember what the I stands for.) We can use ENTER but there are a few other commands that we have to use like ?? and < and 'stop' and 'quit'. Haven't learnt that many yet. I think they're going to teach them all in bite sized pieces.
HOwever the crap thing thus far is when we have to type out customer responses verbatim we cant use the arrow key. So, if there's a spelling mistake early on be have to backspace everything to change it....or not change it. There's no auto-correct either.

Oh, well i hope the wisdom teeth thing goes well. When are you going under the knife? lol, work must suck hard-core if you're looking forwardf to it.
Does that mean you wont be able to tal kon the phone?
Good luck.

Interesting... so do you have it so that there are 2 modes: Available and Aux? Aux means no calls drop in on you, but they measure how long you're in that state (oh and putting a cust on hold = aux time too). We're supposed to average like 20 secs aux per call... lol... my stats look so pathetic; on Sunday had ~60 calls taken and total Aux time of 1h20m i think.

Cause I was just wondering if the comp randomly calls people for you or that sort of thing.

ouch as far as the backspace everything is concerned, we're lucky enough to be able to get some arrow action happening ^^ but yeah work isn't actually that bad (oh and my team leader is awesome) it's just the early starts that are killing me; 6.45 start sat (woke up 6) 6 start sun (woke up 5.15) 7.45 start today (woke up 6.30 cause had to take train)

Missy Shifra, I meant to get around to this earlier, but I just wanted to say thank you so much for coming and helping us to set up on Wednesday night - I didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with you but I'm glad you were there. Also, congratulations on the job, and don't think for a second that I'm not going to probe you (ooher) for more information ASAP!

Probe you say... probe all you want! it'll be a refreshing break from having to probe other people for market research purposes.
