Went to shul for Shabbat because Akiv and I had a call-up (to the Torah) as it was my Nana's death anniversary.  Why do the good grand-parents have to die first? I loved her so much that I remember the moment I found this out very very very well and I remember asking my mum why this happened..... My insides go all funny thinking about my grandma. Did you ever stop to think that, perhaps, mid-peak hour, more squishie runs than you were aware of were taking place, and the natural side effect was beginning to take shape?! That that possibility didn't occur to you disappoints me the very most, Miss Shifra.

Also, I hate your neighbours, and they do not deserve the privilege of owning a dog. If you're ever feeling brave enough to knock on their door and ask if you could take him for a walk, I think you should go for it. What's the worst thing they could say or do in refusal? If anything, it's cruelty to animals, and they should be reported for negligence. Dogs are social creatures and NEED interaction and stimulation, both physical and emotional.
