Summary: Isaac has something Oliver would like back!

The lack of Psynergy was beginning to get to Isaac. He felt.....very dull without it - like tarnished silver or rusted metal. Weak and ineffectual. Circumstances were in his favour ,oddly, as he was able to blame his inability to cast on the seismic activity and the sporadic flow of power from Mt. Aleph. It was, at least, a serviceable lie. It didn't explain where his beloved scarf had gone, but even he didn't know the answer to that. Perhaps as some small mercy, however, he'd found himself quite good at predicting the earthquakes - perhaps a small remnant of his missing powers, or a new gift of intuition. He didn't know, but he wasn't going to look that particular gift horse in the mouth.
He'd been popping on and off the Plane regularly now, checking the messages on the Kiosk. When he saw the response from Oliver, he managed a real smile - At least he could still help someone. He made his way to the kitchen after popping back home for the statuette in question. It was a curious little thing and reminded him, somehow, of Kraden. He'd taken good care of it - cleaned away dirt and scuff marks, and protected it from damage by wrapping it in some spare cloth.
And so he waited in the kitchen, with the small package cradled in his hands and an eye out for Oliver.
